It is with deep regret that we acknowledge the passing of Pope Francis, a highly esteemed spiritual leader who devoted 12 years to the service of the Catholic Church. At the age of 88, he encountered various health challenges yet consistently demonstrated remarkable resilience. He had recently recovered from a hospitalization and participated in significant meetings in observance of the Easter celebrations just days prior to his passing.
Pope Francis was widely recognized for his compassionate leadership, commitment to social justice, and dedication to fostering interfaith dialogue. His departure will be profoundly felt not only within the Catholic community but also more broadly, as he significantly impacted numerous lives through his messages of love, peace, and compassion.
As we reflect on his enduring legacy, we extend our heartfelt condolences to all those grieving this significant loss. May he attain eternal peace, and may those who remain find comfort in their cherished memories of him. April 21, 2025
